Magpul ASAP Sling Plate Features
Magpul ASAP Sling Plate is an AR-platform receiver end plate built for ambidextrous single-point sling attachment. It gives left- and right-handed shooters a wide range of sling movement for shoulder transitions and general handling. Also, the moving link ring helps reduce sling binding around the rear of the receiver. As a result, it works well for customers who want a practical sling attachment upgrade for compatible carbine setups.
The ASAP replaces a standard AR-style carbine receiver end plate and accepts common snap-hook sling attachments. In addition, the steel construction supports hard use during range work, training, and regular handling. The welded link ring provides more than 180 degrees of movement for flexible sling positioning. Also, the design works with both mil-spec and commercial-spec carbine receiver extensions. Because it is not intended for A1/A2 fixed stock systems or similarly mounted rifle stocks, compatibility should be checked before installation.
