FN SCAR 15P is an ultra-compact, piston-driven pistol built for users who want SCAR system reliability in a highly maneuverable format. Designed around a short-stroke gas piston operating system, it delivers cleaner function and dependable cycling while maintaining the control expected from the platform. Its compact layout makes it well suited for confined spaces, transport, and rapid handling. The overall design keeps the familiar SCAR operating concept intact while adapting it to a smaller defensive and utility-focused configuration.
The monolithic hard-anodized aluminum receiver gives the FN SCAR 15P a rigid foundation for durability and accessory support. MIL-STD-1913 rails at four positions provide ample space for optics, lights, lasers, and other mission-specific add-ons, while the vertical Picatinny rail with integrated sling QD cup expands setup flexibility. Dual ambidextrous charging handles remain static under fire and can be swapped left or right to suit user preference, helping maintain control from a variety of shooting positions. Ambidextrous safety and magazine release controls further enhance adaptability for right- or left-handed shooters. A hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free-floating barrel with a three-prong flash hider rounds out the package, combining durability with practical performance in a compact footprint.
