Overview
The Microtech UTX-85 Gen IV Black Stonewash Serrated is a compact, high-performance out-the-front automatic designed for everyday carry and precision utility. Built to Microtech’s Gen IV standards, it pairs a 3.10" Böhler M390MK double-edged serrated dagger blade with a lightweight, contoured black 6061-T6 aluminum handle for a balanced, pocketable package that performs in the field.
Performance & Design
The UTX-85 shrinks the Ultratech platform to a highly pocketable footprint without sacrificing deployment speed or durability. The stonewash finish hides wear, the full-serrated dagger profile cuts fibrous materials with authority, and the Gen IV Dual-Fuel Drive Train + Crud Kutter systems ensure smooth, reliable blade action and reduced debris build-up.
Ergonomics & Controls
Compact, ambidextrous OTF action with a low-profile slide for one-hand deployment and retraction. Contoured handle geometry provides a secure grasp; reversible tip-down pocket clip for convenient carry. Includes a glass-breaker tip for emergency utility.
