The Leapers UTG Pro AR15 6-position Buffer Tube is a mil-spec diameter receiver extension built for carbine-length collapsible stock setups on the AR-15 platform. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum in the USA, it serves as the foundation for the recoil system and the mounting point for the stock, two jobs that reward tight machining more than anything else. Builders assembling a lower from parts and shooters replacing a worn or commercial-diameter tube are the obvious audience.
Rolled threads engage the lower receiver cleanly, and the outside tolerances are held close enough that mil-spec stocks slide on without the rattle that plagues loose tubes. Standard carbine buffers and springs drop straight in, so nothing else in the recoil system needs to change.
