JACOB GREY RECOIL REAPER 1911 BUFFER KIT Features
The JACOB GREY RECOIL REAPER is a captured hydraulic 1911 buffer kit designed for compatible 1911 and 2011-style pistols using a standard recoil spring and recoil plug system. It is intended for single-stack and double-stack 1911 platforms that fall within the required barrel length and recoil-system geometry range. The system is built around Atlas Gunworks and Dawson Precision tool-less guide rod geometry, making compatibility dependent on the host pistol’s guide rod profile and recoil assembly layout.
The captured hydraulic design helps manage slide movement and recoil impulse in compatible 1911 and 2011 applications. In addition, the system is intended for pistols with accessible bull plug geometry, since blocked or obstructed plug access can prevent proper assembly and disassembly. This kit is not designed for striker-fired pistols, non-1911/2011 platforms, or firearms that do not accept a standard recoil spring assembly.
