LMT DEFENSE MARS-LS MRP is a semi-automatic rifle built for shooters who want a premium AR-platform carbine with fully ambidextrous controls and a true monolithic upper design. It uses a direct impingement system, so it keeps the operating style familiar while adding the engineering refinements LMT is known for. Because this rifle is built around the MARS lower and MRP upper, it gives shooters a more advanced platform than a standard forged AR.
The LMT DEFENSE MARS-LS MRP blends hard-use durability with practical modularity. Its monolithic rail platform is machined from a single piece of aluminum, which helps increase rigidity and supports a true free-floated barrel setup. In addition, the fully ambidextrous lower gives shooters mirrored magazine release, bolt catch, and selector access for easier operation from either side. The rifle also uses 1913 picatinny attachment points along the handguard, a full-length 1913 top rail, and LMT’s quick-change MRP barrel system.
