CAT AKB Akbar Ti .30 CAL Suppressor 1.375×24 HUB, Black

Description
The CAT AKB Akbar Ti is a titanium .30 caliber rifle suppressor built as a true generalist rather than a host-specific design. Despite what the name suggests, it is not a dedicated AK or 7.62x39 can. The AKB came out of CAT's push to build one optimized .30 caliber system that performs consistently across direct impingement, piston, bolt action, and modern gas gun platforms instead of being tuned around a single rifle.
Internal architecture using CAT's SBX technology is engineered to handle the gas loads that come with short barreled rifles while keeping back pressure predictable on precision and long range setups. Titanium construction keeps the weight at 9.1 ounces, which matters on a 16 inch SR-25 or a hunting rifle where muzzle mass changes how the gun handles. The 1.375x24 HUB thread opens it up to the broad range of aftermarket mounts, so shooters running several hosts can swap adapters rather than cans.
CAT AKB Akbar Ti Features
- Titanium build keeps the suppressor at 9.1 ounces, a meaningful difference at the muzzle on both carbines and sporter weight bolt guns
- 1.375x24 HUB rear thread accepts the standard HUB mount ecosystem, letting one can serve multiple rifles with the right adapters
- SBX internal design manages gas load from short barreled hosts while holding back pressure in check on precision platforms
- Rated to .300 Winchester Magnum, covering common .30 caliber chamberings plus 5.56 and 6.5 Creedmoor hosts
- Black PVD finish for surface hardness and corrosion resistance under repeated heat cycles
- 6.04 inch length and 1.60 inch diameter keep overall rifle balance reasonable and clear most handguards and scope setups
