Description
This Pre-Owned Cugir TT-C is a Romanian-built Tokarev pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm, produced at the Cugir Arms Factory as a copy of the Soviet TT-33. The design is single action with a short recoil, tilting barrel action derived from Browning's work, and it was built for military service rather than target shooting. Surplus Tokarevs like this one draw interest from Cold War collectors and from shooters who enjoy the flat trajectory and sharp report of the 7.62x25mm cartridge.
Handling is straightforward: a slim single-stack grip, a modular hammer and sear assembly that drops out as one unit, and fixed sights set low in the slide. This example ships with two 8-round magazines and its original box.
Cugir TT-C Features
- Chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev, a bottlenecked pistol cartridge known for high velocity and flat shooting at typical handgun distances
- Single-action trigger with an exposed hammer, giving a short consistent pull once the pistol is cocked
- Short recoil, tilting barrel action built on the proven TT-33 pattern for simple, reliable cycling
- Removable hammer and sear module that lifts out as a single group, making cleaning and inspection easy without tools
- Fixed front blade and rear notch sights that stay snag-free during carry and holster work
- Blued steel construction with a slim single-stack grip that keeps the pistol narrow and easy to carry
