Description
The Exigent Defense FireTeam556 is a compact, full-auto rated 5.56 NATO suppressor built around a monolithic Inconel 718 body produced through Direct Metal Laser Sintering. Developed alongside B&T USA, it carries the sound performance Exigent built its reputation on into a shorter, harder-use package finished in FDE. Shooters running 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington carbines, SBRs, and AR pistols who need a can that tolerates sustained strings will find it at home.
Additive manufacturing lets Exigent shape internal geometry and gas flow paths that conventional machining and welding cannot produce. Venting architecture routes expanding gas and concussive force into controlled bypass off the bore axis, which cuts back-pressure and keeps blowback out of the shooter's face during fast strings. Repeated testing of internal configurations also brought down perceived flash signature. The 1.375x24 HUB interface accepts the common range of HUB-compatible mounts and muzzle devices, which are sold separately.
