The Dead Air CT5P Patrol is a 5.56 NATO suppressor built specifically for patrol rifle work, aimed at officers running semi-automatic duty guns who need hearing protection and reduced muzzle concussion inside vehicles, hallways, and other confined spaces. Dead Air drew on what it learned from the Lazarus 6 and Sandman X, then dropped the HUB interface to arrive at a shorter, lighter can that mounts directly to a 1/2x28 muzzle.
Gas regulation is the core of the design. The patent-pending Compact Triskelion baffle stack keeps backpressure low and point of impact shift minimal, and it works on both direct impingement and piston gas systems in 5.56 NATO and 6mm ARC. Haynes 282 superalloy construction carries a full-auto rating with no minimum barrel length restriction, so duty carbines and shorter uppers are fair game.
