The Ruger 10/22 Carbon Fiber Takedown is a 22 LR semi-automatic rimfire rifle built around the takedown version of Ruger's long-running 10/22 action, paired with a Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock in a textured white speckle and black finish. The barrel is a cold hammer-forged stainless core tensioned inside a carbon fiber sleeve, which trims weight at the muzzle without giving up the rigidity that helps a rimfire barrel shoot consistently. Total weight sits at 3.9 pounds, and the rifle separates into two halves that lock together through the Backpacker stock for transport.
Shooters who want a packable trail gun, a truck rifle, or a lightweight trainer will find this configuration hard to beat.
