The United Gunworks Phantom Compact is a double-stack 9mm built around a billet aluminum grip and a match-grade bull barrel, positioned as the concealable counterpart to the full-size UG-1 Alpha. This example is built in the Ported configuration with a copper barrel, so gas is vented through barrel and slide cuts to help flatten the muzzle during fast strings. Shooters who want a carry-size pistol that still handles like a range gun will find the short barrel paired with a full-length grip a sensible combination.
Machined, assembled and inspected in-house in Peoria, Arizona, the Phantom carries a crisp 2 to 3 pound trigger break, a proprietary dual recoil spring system, and a modular optic plate system with an integrated co-witness rear sight. It ships with three 17-round Check-Mate magazines, two United Gunworks challenge coins, and the original box.
