Geissele Defense Pistol GDP 8" Features
The Geissele Defense Pistol GDP 8" is a compact 5.56 NATO pistol configuration built for maneuverability, tight storage, and Super Duty-style reliability in a shorter platform. Its 8-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, GDP brace system, and proprietary buffer assembly create a purpose-built pistol setup rather than a shortened standard rifle configuration. This Desert Dirt Color model is designed for shooters who want a compact Geissele platform with modern controls and suppressor-ready muzzle compatibility.
The patented Geissele Phased Array gas system and Tri-Port system are tuned around the short barrel length to support reliable cycling and a controlled recoil impulse. In addition, the proprietary integral buffer system with a custom-length Super 42 braided buffer spring works with the GFW bolt carrier and buffer assembly to keep the platform compact. The dual-telescoping GDP brace deploys from its stowed position with two solid-lock positions while still allowing access to the firing controls when collapsed. The 7-inch MK16 handguard provides a rigid accessory mounting platform, while the Airborne Charging Handle, Super Configurable Safety Selector, Maritime Bolt Catch, and SSA X wide-body Lightning Bow trigger give the pistol a refined control package. With its HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556, Stressproof Bolt, Anti-Strike Super Compact Gas Block, and A17 reduced-angle grip, the Geissele Defense Pistol GDP 8" is built as a compact, dedicated 5.56 pistol system.
