The TAURUS TX22 COMPETITION is a full-size rimfire pistol built for target shooting, fast handling, and optic-ready performance. It uses a single-action-only operating system with Taurus’s Performance Trigger System for a short, smooth pull and consistent control. Designed around the TX22 Competition platform, this model adds Steel Challenge Ready upgrades that make it well suited for range use, rimfire competition, and high-volume training.
The optic-ready aluminum slide uses a skeletonized design with an enlarged ejection port to support reliable cycling and fast operation. In addition, the included adapter plates provide mounting compatibility for a wide range of popular red dot sights. The threaded bull barrel gives the pistol a stable target-focused setup, while the custom polished feed ramp helps support smooth feeding. TandemKross upgrades add further performance value, including the Eagle Talon Extractor and Game Changer Pro Squared Compensator. The ergonomic polymer grip, ambidextrous safety, adjustable rear sight, and accessory rail round out the package with practical controls and useful setup flexibility.
