The STOPBOX U-CAN uses a rapid-access finger code lock with 81 available combinations, which keeps operation simple and fully mechanical. In addition, the body uses high-impact glass-reinforced polycarbonate-ABS with steel reinforcement, so it balances durability with easier portability than a traditional steel safe. Retail product details also describe a removable top tray and storage capacity for a firearm, four magazines, about 200 rounds of ammunition, plus eye and ear protection.
