STACCATO HD HOST MOUNTING KIT — ACRO P-2
Overview
The Staccato HD HOST Mounting Kit (ACRO P-2) provides a rugged, slide-mounted adapter that lets you fit an Aimpoint ACRO P-2 (and compatible micro red-dot footprints) directly to your Staccato HD slide. Built to duty-grade tolerances, this kit preserves sight picture and optic repeatability without altering slide geometry.
Performance & Design
The HOST adapters match popular optic footprints to the slide while maintaining a low, secure profile. RMR/RMR-HD/SRO plates are manufactured from 4140 steel with a DLC finish for maximum wear resistance; the ACRO plate is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type II anodize for an ideal strength-to-weight balance. Precision machining and tight tolerances ensure repeatable optic alignment under hard use.
Ergonomics & Controls
The kit keeps the optic footprint low and centered over the bore for natural sighting and minimal change to grip or holster fit. Hardware is countersunk/flush to preserve slide manipulation and reduce snag potential.
Sights & Optics
Specifically engineered for direct-mounting micro-red dot optics, the ACRO P-2 plate positions the Aimpoint ACRO for immediate co-witnessing with existing iron sights (setup dependent). Use factory or aftermarket iron sights as backups; check plate/optic mounting torque per manufacturer specs.
