SPRINGFIELD KUNA WITH PISTOL BRACE is a compact PCC platform engineered to deliver stable, controllable performance in a modern 9mm configuration. Designed as a pistol caliber carbine–style system, it utilizes a roller-delayed operating mechanism to reduce felt recoil and enhance shot-to-shot consistency. By mechanically delaying bolt movement, the action produces a smoother impulse and flatter tracking during rapid fire. This design makes it well-suited for defensive roles, structured training, and range applications where controllability and compact precision are priorities.
The monolithic aluminum upper receiver is Type III hardcoat anodized for rigidity and long-term durability, while the injection-molded, glass-filled polymer lower keeps overall weight balanced without sacrificing strength. A cold radial hammer-forged barrel with Melonite treatment supports extended service life and repeatable accuracy. The threaded muzzle with multi-port brake helps manage muzzle rise and maintain control during fast strings. Fully ambidextrous controls allow intuitive operation from either side, and the reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle keeps manipulation smooth and unobstructed. A flat aluminum trigger provides a consistent break and defined reset. The continuous top Picatinny rail and rear interface support optics and the included folding brace, giving this PCC flexible configuration options.
