Description
This Pre-Owned Ruger SFAR is a small-frame AR-10 pattern semi-automatic rifle chambered in 308 Winchester, built around Ruger's redesigned bolt and barrel extension so that full-size 7.62 ballistics fit into a package sized and weighted much closer to a standard AR-15. Introduced in 2022, the SFAR was aimed at shooters who want 308 performance without the bulk of a traditional large-frame rifle, which makes it a sensible choice for hunting, general-purpose carbine work, and range use.
This example has been personalized with an FDE Magpul pistol grip, a vertical foregrip, and FDE M-LOK grip panels on the free-float handguard, along with a red anodized safety selector. One 20-round magazine is included.
Ruger SFAR Features
- Small-frame receiver set that keeps 308 Winchester chambering in a profile close to an AR-15, cutting carry weight on long days afield
- Cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist, a combination Ruger uses for accuracy and barrel life with common 308 loads
- Four-position adjustable gas block on a mid-length system, letting you tune the rifle for ammunition type or a mounted suppressor
- 15-inch Lite free-float M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail for optics, backup irons, and accessory placement anywhere along the forend
- Ruger Elite 452 two-stage trigger that gives a defined take-up and a clean break for precision work
