Radom Z.M. Lucznik P-83 9x18mm Makarov 8rd, Blued
1 in stock
Description
This Pre-Owned Radom Z.M. Lucznik P-83 is a blued, all-steel service pistol chambered in 9x18mm Makarov, developed by Poland's OBR Radom institute in the late 1970s as a simpler and less expensive successor to the P-64. Production ran from 1983 to 2000 at the Lucznik Arms Factory in Radom, where the design's stamped and spot-welded construction kept military and police contracts affordable without giving up durability. The straight blowback action, fixed barrel, and DA/SA trigger put it in the same family of compact Eastern Bloc duty pistols that collectors and recreational shooters gravitate toward.
This example was imported by PW Arms and carries the importer markings associated with those shipments. It ships with one magazine. Shooters who enjoy surplus-era handguns, Makarov-caliber hosts, or affordable range pistols with genuine service history will find this one worth a look.
Radom Z.M. Lucznik P-83 Features
- Straight blowback action with a fixed, chrome-lined barrel that is pressed and pinned into the frame, a simple layout with few parts to go out of time
- Double action/single action trigger allowing a long first-shot pull with the hammer down and lighter follow-up shots
- Slide-mounted manual safety that also functions as a hammer drop decocker for safe unloading of a chambered round
- Loaded chamber indicator pin on the rear left of the slide, giving a visual and tactile check of chamber status
- Fixed front blade and rear notch sights that stay put and hold zero without adjustment
- Wraparound synthetic grips, a European heel magazine release, and an integral lanyard ring on the frame, all carried over from its duty role
