The JK Armament SGX 12GA is a modular 12 gauge shotgun suppressor built around a patented baffle design that lets the shot cup wad pass through the can without being torn apart. Shotgun suppressors have historically shredded wads, leaving plastic shavings in the baffle stack and blowing debris back into the action. JK's approach reshapes and supports the wad on its way out, which keeps the stack cleaner and the pattern more consistent downrange. This configuration ships with the JK 195 LT taper mount for quick attachment.
Seven baffle assemblies let the shooter set length, weight, and suppression to the job at hand, from a 3.375-inch stub weighing 4.3 ounces to the full 12.2-inch stack at 22.4 ounces. No specialized tools are needed to reconfigure it. The SGX is rated for birdshot in lead and steel, buckshot, and slugs, with cup style wads recommended.
