This Pre-Owned Heckler & Koch VP9L Optics Ready is the long-slide version of HK's striker-fired 9mm service pistol, built in Germany around a 5-inch cold hammer forged barrel and a polymer frame with an integral Picatinny rail. The added slide and sight radius length give it a steadier hold and a slightly softer shooting impression than the standard VP9, which suits duty use, competition, and range shooters who want a full-size platform ready for a red dot.
Ergonomics are the hallmark of the VP series, and this one came in with its grip tailoring parts accounted for. The pistol includes three 20-round magazines, the original box, two palm swells, and four additional grip accessories, so the frame can still be fit to the shooter's hand rather than the other way around.
