Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 Rifle 5.56 NATO 10rd, Patriot Brown
1 in stock
Description
The Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 is the commercial semi-automatic version of the HK416, built on the same short-stroke gas piston operating system that defines the military platform. This configuration ships in Patriot Brown with a 16.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel and a 10-round magazine, making it suited to shooters in capacity-restricted markets who still want the full HK piston design. Range work, training courses, and practical rifle competition all fall well within what this rifle was built to handle.
Driving the bolt carrier with a piston and operating rod rather than gas routed back through a tube keeps combustion fouling and heat out of the receiver, which shows up as easier cleaning and more consistent function over long strings. The two-position gas regulator lets the shooter tune the system for suppressed or unsuppressed fire, and the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts common 5.56 mounts and muzzle devices.
Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 Features
