Description
The Federal Trophy Copper 20 gauge sabot slug is a 3-inch, 275 grain lead-free load built around a monolithic copper projectile with a polymer tip. Federal designed this round for fully rifled slug barrels, where the two-part sabot separates cleanly at the muzzle and lets the slug stabilize for rifle-like accuracy at extended distances. Hunters working deer woods, shotgun-only zones, or lead-free regulated areas are the intended audience.
Terminal performance comes from an externally skived nose cavity that opens reliably whether the slug lands close or well downrange.
