Description
This Pre-Owned Colt Huntsman is a .22 LR rimfire semi-automatic pistol built as a simplified, lower-cost companion to the Colt Woodsman line. Colt introduced the Huntsman in 1955 and kept it in the catalog into the mid-1970s, aiming it at small game hunting, casual target work, and general plinking rather than formal bullseye shooting. The 6-inch barrel gives the pistol a longer sight radius and a muzzle-forward balance that steadies offhand shooting.
The blued finish and the engraved Huntsman logo are both present on this example. It comes with one 10-round magazine. Shooters who want a classic American rimfire with Browning-derived blowback internals and straightforward handling will find this one familiar.
Colt Huntsman Features
- Blowback-operated, single action design that keeps the mechanism simple and easy to maintain
- 6-inch barrel that stretches the sight radius for more precise aiming on small targets
- Fixed blade front sight suited to field use, with nothing to drift or snag during carry
- Heel-mounted magazine release that holds the magazine securely and is unlikely to be bumped loose
- 10-round detachable box magazine for extended strings of rimfire shooting
- Engraved Huntsman logo marking the pistol as part of Colt's rimfire family
