BERETTA 92GTS is a full-size DA/SA pistol built for shooters who want the proven feel of the 92 series with a more modern control layout. It uses a frame-mounted Type G decocker, so it gives the pistol a different manual of arms than the classic slide-mounted safety models. As a result, the platform feels especially well suited for defense, range work, and shooters who prefer a decocker-only setup. The optic-ready slide also adds flexibility for users who want to run a red dot.
The BERETTA 92GTS also adds several updates that push the platform beyond a standard 92-pattern pistol. Beretta built it around Twin Sear Technology, which supports smoother decocking and cleaner transitions between double-action and single-action fire. In addition, the pistol uses DLC trigger components and a lightweight skeletonized hammer to support a more refined trigger feel. The ambidextrous controls make it easier to run from either side, while the fiber optic front sight helps the pistol stay fast and easy to pick up on target.
