Description
The Angstadt Arms Vanquish 22 is an integrally suppressed 18-inch replacement barrel for the Ruger 10/22, built around a patented baffle-free design that uses precision porting rather than a traditional baffle stack. Porting along the bore bleeds gas as the bullet travels, dropping standard-velocity .22 LR below the sound barrier so there is no supersonic crack to contend with and no need to hunt down specialty subsonic ammunition. The barrel and its integral suppressor are covered by a single Form 4 and tax stamp.
Installation is a straightforward swap on any standard Ruger 10/22 receiver with a stock cut for a .920 inch bull contour, which makes this a practical way to turn a familiar rimfire into a quiet backyard, pest control, or training rifle. Shooters who have dealt with lead-fouled rimfire cans will appreciate the maintenance side of it, since there are no baffles to pack with carbon and lead. A Bentz match chamber and fully rifled 416R stainless barrel keep accuracy in line with the quiet operation.
