By accessing our website, purchasing products, enrolling in training, or conducting business with Down Range Guns & Ammo, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure compliance with federal and state law while providing a clear and professional customer experience.

General Terms

• Down Range Guns & Ammo operates as a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL). All firearm-related transactions are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or deny transfers at our discretion, particularly in cases involving suspected fraud, legal ineligibility, policy violations, or non-compliance with applicable laws.
• Customers are responsible for understanding the laws governing firearm ownership in their jurisdiction before making a purchase.

Firearm Sales Policy

All firearm transfers require:

• Valid government-issued identification
• Completion of ATF Form 4473
• Successful background check (unless legally exempt)
• Compliance with all applicable laws

• Firearms may only be transferred to the individual listed on the transaction. Straw purchases are illegal and will be reported.

If a required background check is not approved:

• The firearm will not be transferred
• The transaction will be canceled
• Background check and processing fees are non-refundable
• A restocking fee may apply if the firearm must be returned to inventory or to the original seller

• Because federal law prohibits transfer without approval, ownership does not pass to the customer unless the transfer is successfully completed.
• All firearm sales are final once the transfer has been completed and the firearm has left our premises.

Online Firearm Purchases & FFL Transfers

Firearms purchased online must be shipped to a valid FFL. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

• The receiving FFL will accept the transfer
• The firearm is legal in their jurisdiction
• They are legally eligible to possess the firearm

If a firearm is returned due to customer error, refusal, failure to complete paperwork, or failure of background check, the customer is responsible for:

• Return shipping costs
• Original shipping costs
• A restocking fee of up to 15%

• Transfer fees are non-refundable once the firearm has been logged into our acquisition records.

6-Month Transfer Claim Policy

Firearms and regulated items received for transfer must be claimed within six (6) months of arrival at Down Range Guns & Ammo. Customers will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of purchase.

If a transferred item remains unclaimed after six (6) months, and reasonable attempts to contact the customer have been made, the item will be considered abandoned property. Down Range Guns & Ammo reserves the right to:

• Charge reasonable storage fees
• Return the item to the sender at the customer’s expense
• Dispose of or resell the item in accordance with applicable federal and Minnesota law

Any proceeds from resale may be applied toward unpaid transfer fees, storage fees, and administrative costs.

It is the customer’s responsibility to keep contact information current and to complete the transfer promptly.

Return Policy – Non-Firearm Items

We want customers to feel confident in their purchases. Non-firearm merchandise may be returned within fourteen (14) days of purchase if:

• The item is unused
• In original packaging
• In resellable condition
• Accompanied by receipt

The following items are non-returnable:

• Firearms
• Ammunition
• NFA items
• Optics once mounted
• Special order items
• Clearance or discounted merchandise
• Opened consumable goods

• Shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Approved returns may be refunded to the original payment method or issued as store credit at our discretion.

Sales Cancellation & Mislisted Items

We strive for accuracy in pricing, specifications, and inventory status. However, errors may occur. Down Range Guns & Ammo reserves the right to:

• Cancel orders resulting from typographical errors
• Cancel orders due to incorrect pricing
• Cancel orders due to inventory discrepancies
• Correct errors in product descriptions or specifications

If an order is canceled due to a listing error, the customer will be notified promptly and a full refund will be issued. Pricing errors caused by system glitches, feed errors, or data entry mistakes will not be honored.

Special Orders

• Special order items require a deposit or full prepayment.
• Once a special order has been placed with a distributor or manufacturer, it is non-refundable.
• If a cancellation is requested prior to fulfillment, a cancellation fee may apply.

NFA Items (Suppressors, SBRs, etc.)

• All NFA item sales are final.

Once ATF paperwork has been submitted:

• Payments are non-refundable
• If a transfer is denied, a restocking fee may apply
• ATF processing timelines are outside our control

We assist with submission and compliance but cannot guarantee approval or processing times.

Training Classes & Events

• Class registrations are non-refundable within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled event.
• If cancellation occurs more than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the event, store credit may be issued or rescheduling may be permitted at our discretion.
• No-shows forfeit their registration fee.
• We reserve the right to reschedule classes due to instructor availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

Warranties

• New firearms may be covered under manufacturer warranties.
• Down Range Guns & Ammo does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer unless explicitly stated in writing.
• Customers experiencing product issues should contact the manufacturer directly unless instructed otherwise.

Payment & Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to:

• Verify identity prior to shipment
• Cancel suspicious transactions
• Require additional documentation for fraud prevention

• Chargebacks involving transferred firearms will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

Website Content

• All website content, branding, images, and descriptions are property of Down Range Guns & Ammo.
• Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

By purchasing products or services from Down Range Guns & Ammo, customers assume full responsibility for lawful and safe handling, storage, and use.

We are not liable for improper use, negligent handling, or failure to comply with applicable laws.

Privacy

Customer information is collected for lawful business purposes and regulatory compliance. We do not sell customer information.

Changes to Terms

Down Range Guns & Ammo reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
