The S&W M&P9 PC SHIELD X CARRY COMP is a Performance Center–enhanced striker-fired 9mm built for controlled carry and refined shooting dynamics. Designed around a compact footprint with increased magazine capacity, this model integrates compensating features and slide porting to reduce muzzle rise and improve shot-to-shot recovery. The addition of a manual thumb safety offers an added layer of user control while maintaining the consistent trigger press of the M&P platform.
A fluted and ported stainless steel barrel works in conjunction with the ported slide to vent gases upward, helping manage recoil impulse during defensive or range use. The slide is factory cut for the RMSc/K optic footprint, allowing direct mounting of compatible micro red dot sights without adapter plates. Ameriglo night sights provide a high-visibility front reference paired with a serrated black rear for a clean sight picture in varied lighting conditions. The flat-face trigger promotes a consistent break and improved finger placement, while aggressive texturing on the slim grip frame enhances retention under recoil. An integrated accessory rail allows compatibility with compact weapon lights, and the Armornite finish strengthens surface durability and corrosion resistance.
