The Tuna Cans .46-S 6 Baffle Multi-Cal Suppressor is a large bore, multi-caliber can built around a .499 bore and a 1.375x24 HUB thread pattern. Heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel construction puts the emphasis on durability and high round counts rather than minimum weight, and the open bore lets one can cover a wide spread of hosts. Shooters running 45 ACP pistols, 45-70 GOV and 44 Magnum lever guns, 454 Casull, and 458 SOCOM uppers can feed the same suppressor across all of them.
Up front sits a 3 inch blast chamber, which is what gives the can room to accept HUB mounts and other large mounting systems using standard 1.375x24 threading. The six ribbed baffles thread together into a solid stack, making the internals serviceable rather than sealed. A mount is not included, so the can is configured to whichever host system you prefer. For 5.56, 223, and 5.45 hosts, the manufacturer specifies a 10 inch minimum barrel length.
