Description
The Sig Sauer Tango-MSR 1-8x24mm is a low power variable optic built around the way most modern sporting rifles actually get used, from close-range work at true 1x to identified shots out past a few hundred yards at full magnification. The 30mm tube rides in the included ALPHA-MSR one-piece aluminum cantilever mount, so it drops onto a flat-top receiver without sourcing rings separately. Second focal plane construction keeps the MSR BDC-8 reticle the same visual size through the magnification range, with the holdovers calibrated at 8x.
Shooters running a general purpose carbine will find this one of the simpler ways to cover both ends of the distance spectrum. Red LED illumination across 11 settings keeps the center aiming point visible in bright daylight, and the thread-in throw lever makes the jump from 1x to 8x a quick motion rather than a fumble.
Sig Sauer Tango-MSR 1-8x24mm Features
- 8x optical system with low dispersion glass and Spectracoat lens coatings for clear target identification across the magnification range
- Illuminated MSR BDC-8 reticle in the second focal plane, giving a consistent reticle size with holdover references calibrated at full power
- Integrated thread-in throw lever that speeds up magnification changes and removes when a slimmer profile is preferred
- 0.5 MOA click adjustments with 44 MOA of travel per rotation, making zeroing and dialing straightforward to track
- Waterproof to IPX-7 along with shockproof and fogproof construction for hard-use carbine duty
- ALPHA-MSR cantilever mount and lay-flat flip-back lens covers included, so the optic is ready to mount out of the box
