Description
This Pre-Owned Sig Sauer Cross Rifle is a bolt action precision rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor built around a folding, adjustable chassis-style stock and an alloy receiver, paired here with a Vortex optics package. The 18-inch configuration keeps the rifle compact enough for pack carry and truck storage while staying long enough to make use of the cartridge's reach, which is the thinking behind the Cross platform in the first place. Hunters working rough country, long range shooters who want a lighter setup, and anyone who likes an AR-style manual of arms on a bolt gun will find it familiar in the hands.
Included with this rifle are one 5-round AICS pattern polymer magazine, a Vortex Venom riflescope with the AR-BDC3 (MOA) reticle, and a Vortex Venom enclosed micro red dot for close work. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and wears a thread protector with a taper cap.
Sig Sauer Cross Rifle Features
- Folding stock with adjustable length of pull and comb height, so the rifle packs down to roughly 28 inches for transport and still fits the shooter once deployed
- Free-floating M-LOK alloy handguard that keeps barrel harmonics undisturbed while leaving room for bipods, lights, and sling hardware
- Two-stage adjustable match trigger with a curved shoe, giving a predictable first stage and a clean break for precision work
- Ambidextrous AR-style safety selector and an AR-compatible reduced angle grip, familiar territory for anyone coming off a modern sporting rifle
- Stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist and 5/8x24 threads, suited to heavier 6.5 Creedmoor match bullets and ready for a muzzle device or suppressor
- AICS pattern magazine well, which opens up a wide range of aftermarket magazine options
