Marlin 336SC Sporting Carbine .35 Remington 5rd, Blued
1 in stock
Description
This Pre-Owned Marlin 336SC Sporting Carbine is a lever-action rifle chambered in .35 Remington, built on Marlin's postwar 336 platform with the shortened two-thirds length magazine tube that defines the SC configuration. Marlin introduced the 336SC in 1950, and it was the first 336 variant offered in .35 Remington, a cartridge well suited to deer and black bear inside typical timber distances. The lighter tube and trim carbine profile made it a favorite for hunters who carry a rifle far more than they shoot it.
This example wears its original blued finish and an American walnut stock. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for optic or sight mounting. Shooters who want a classic brush gun with the option to add glass will find this one straightforward to set up.
Marlin 336SC Features
- Lever-action operation with the Marlin 336 locking bolt, a design that earned its reputation on fast follow-up shots in close cover
- Two-thirds length tubular magazine that trims weight and balance compared to the full-length 336A
- Side ejection, which keeps spent brass clear of the receiver top and leaves room for a scope
- Drilled and tapped receiver, giving you a direct path to mounting an optic or aperture sight
- American walnut stock and forend for the warmth and feel of a traditional hunting carbine
- Blued steel finish over the receiver and barrel in keeping with the rifle's original configuration
