This Pre-Owned Smith & Wesson M&P-15 Sport III is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle built on the company's current-generation Sport platform, introduced in 2024 as the successor to the Sport II. The update moved the line to a mid-length gas system and a free-float M-LOK handguard, two changes that address the most common complaints about earlier entry-level ARs. Shooters looking for a straightforward duty-pattern carbine for range work, training classes, or general-purpose use will find the layout familiar and easy to build on.
This rifle is presented in used condition and comes with one 30-round magazine and a vertical grip mounted to the handguard. The 15-inch handguard leaves plenty of M-LOK real estate for lights, sling hardware, or a bipod, and the full-length top rail accepts optics and backup irons without needing a riser adapter.
