This Pre-Owned Dan Wesson Specialist is a single action 1911-pattern pistol in .45 ACP, built by the Dan Wesson Firearms division of CZ-USA as a duty-minded interpretation of John Browning's design. The Commander-length 4.25-inch barrel shortens the slide while retaining the full-size frame, which keeps the grip and controls familiar in a package that carries better under a jacket. Forged stainless construction, an integral accessory rail, and tritium sights put it in the working-gun category rather than the display case.
It suits a shooter who wants a hand-fitted 1911 for concealed carry, range work, or home defense without stepping into bullseye-only territory. This example comes with two magazines and the original box.
