The Stealth Arms 1911 Platypus 17 is a double-stack 1911 chambered in 9mm that feeds from Glock 17 pattern magazines while keeping the grip angle, controls, and single-action trigger that 1911 shooters already know. Stealth Arms builds these in-house as configured pistols, and this one wears the 5-inch Government-length barrel with an integrated single-port compensator machined as part of the package rather than threaded on.
Prickle texture covers the grip and the slide, the slide is cut for an RMR or SRO footprint, and the frame carries a full-length accessory rail. The measured trigger breaks in the 3.0 to 3.5 pound range. It suits competition shooters, range use, and anyone who wants 1911 ergonomics with modern capacity and optic mounting.
