The Military Armament MAC RA9 Sport is the range-focused version of the modular RA9 line, built around the serialized RA9 Monoblock fire control chassis and fitted into a premium aluminum grip module. Swapping polymer for aluminum adds weight up front and through the grip, which settles the pistol down during fast strings and gives it a feel closer to a steel-framed competition gun than a duty polymer pistol. The black and orange treatment makes it easy to pick out on a crowded bench.
Shooters running steel, USPSA Carry Optics style practice, or high-volume range days are the target audience here. The 4.75 inch QPQ-coated barrel, window-cut slide, fiber-optic front sight, and adjustable target rear sight all point toward precision and recoil control rather than concealment. Two 17-round magazines with metal base plates, a metal mag well, an RMR adapter plate, loading tool, cleaning kit, and lock ship with the pistol.
