Description
This Pre-Owned Henry Repeating Arms Axe is a compact lever action chambered in .410 Bore, built without a shoulder stock and classified by the ATF as a firearm rather than a shotgun. Henry introduced the Axe in 2020 with an axe-handle style pistol grip, a smoothbore round-profile barrel, and a side loading gate feeding the tubular magazine. It fits shooters who want a short, fast-handling .410 for truck or camp duty, informal close-range work, or range plinking with 2.5 inch shells.
The action cycles cleanly and the finish shows the light handling marks expected of a used firearm. This example comes with the original box.
Henry Repeating Arms Axe Features
- Axe-handle style pistol grip that anchors the shooting hand and keeps the overall package short for storage and transport
- Smoothbore barrel with an internally threaded muzzle, accepting Invector-style chokes so patterns can be tuned to the load
- Side loading gate on the tubular magazine, letting you top off rounds without emptying the tube
- Hammer-mounted transfer bar safety that allows the hammer to rest safely over a loaded chamber
- Receiver drilled and tapped for a Weaver 63B mount if you prefer an optic over the standard front bead
- Sling swivel studs for carry options on a firearm meant to be moved around rather than shouldered
