This Pre-Owned Sig Sauer M400 Tread is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle built on SIG's forged AR-15 platform, introduced as the company's entry point into the direct gas impingement carbine market without stepping down to parts-bin components. The 16-inch stainless steel barrel and mid-length gas system give it a softer impulse and steadier sight picture than a carbine-length setup, which suits range work, training classes, and general defensive use equally well.
Shooters looking for a complete duty-style carbine that only needs an optic will find the Tread well sorted out of the gate. This rifle comes with one 30-round magazine.
