Description

This Pre-Owned Sauer SL5 is an inertia-driven 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun in the black tactical configuration, built in Italy by Breda for J.P. Sauer & Sohn. The short 18.5 inch barrel, pistol grip synthetic stock, and receiver-mounted optics rail put it closer to a 3-Gun or defensive-pattern shotgun than a field gun, while the inertia operating system keeps the action simple and the gun light up front. It suits a shooter who wants a recoil-operated semi-auto that runs clean, mounts an optic without gunsmithing, and takes widely available Benelli Crio Plus pattern chokes.

The gun shows normal handling from previous use with no damage noted. It is supplied with a Breda Maxi-Choke extended tube in the Crio Plus thread pattern.

Sauer SL5 Features

  • Inertia-driven action that cycles without gas ports or pistons, which keeps fouling out of the operating system and makes cleaning quick
  • 18.5 inch stepped rib barrel for a short, fast-handling profile with a consistent sighting plane down the top of the gun
  • Picatinny rail machined into the receiver top so a red dot or low-power optic mounts directly, no adapter plate needed
  • Black synthetic pistol grip tactical stock that gives a vertical firing hand position and a durable, weatherproof surface
  • Benelli Crio Plus pattern choke threading, giving access to a deep aftermarket tube selection beyond the included Breda Maxi-Choke extended tube
  • Oversized bolt handle and enlarged bolt release for easier manipulation with gloves or under speed
