Tisas 1911 Raider Features
Tisas 1911 Raider is a Pre-Owned full-size Government-pattern pistol built around the traditional single-action 1911 operating system. Inspired by the military-style M45A1 configuration, the Raider combines forged steel construction with modern production methods and a tactical-oriented control layout. Its Series 70-style internal design preserves the straightforward mechanical architecture associated with classic 1911 pistols. This example is configured with Pachmayr grips and includes two magazines, a magwell, two sets of grips, and the original factory box.
The frame and slide are machined from forged carbon steel, providing a rigid foundation and the substantial handling characteristics expected from an all-steel Government-size 1911. A forged and machined stainless steel barrel provides corrosion resistance and consistent lockup within the slide assembly. The single-action trigger system delivers the familiar short, consistent trigger movement associated with the 1911 platform, while the Series 70-style internals avoid a firing-pin safety linkage in the trigger mechanism. An extended beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, and accessory rail modernize the traditional design for defensive and range applications. The added magwell helps guide magazines during reloads, while the included Pachmayr grips provide a textured rubber interface for improved purchase. Two grip sets allow the pistol’s feel and appearance to be changed without altering the underlying frame configuration.
