Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Metal Carry Comp is a Pre-Owned striker-fired pistol built around an aluminum frame, optics-ready slide, and integrated Power Port system for improved recoil control. The metal-frame construction adds rigidity and mass compared with polymer-frame M&P variants while retaining the familiar M2.0 control layout and ergonomics. Its ported barrel and slide configuration is designed to reduce muzzle rise and support faster recovery between shots. The platform is suited to defensive carry, range use, and optic-equipped configurations.
The aluminum frame provides a solid shooting interface while maintaining a practical balance between weight and portability. Smith & Wesson’s Power Port system vents gases upward through the barrel and slide to help control muzzle movement during recoil. The M2.0 flat-face trigger provides a consistent trigger interface, while the interchangeable backstrap system allows the grip profile to be adjusted to better fit the shooter’s hand. An optics-ready slide supports compatible red-dot configurations, and the factory sighting system combines a night front sight with a black rear for a clear sight picture in varied lighting conditions. The barrel receives an Armornite treatment for added surface hardness and corrosion resistance. This example includes two magazines, interchangeable backstraps, and the original factory box.
