Description
The Browning A-Bolt Varmint Stalker is a short action bolt gun built around a heavier 24 inch barrel and a synthetic stock, chambered in 223 Remington. Browning positioned the Varmint Stalker between the light sporter A-Bolts and full weight benchrest rifles, giving it enough barrel mass for repeat shots on prairie dogs, coyotes, and paper targets without the bulk of a true heavy profile. The 1:12 twist suits lighter varmint bullets, which is where this chambering does its best work.
It suits a shooter who wants a scoped predator or small game rifle with a proven short throw action and a stock that shrugs off weather. The rifle shows normal handling marks consistent with use and functions as intended. Scope rings are not included.
