How do I buy a gun?
For most, but not all, firearms you will need a valid Permit To Carry or Permit To Purchase. In addition, you must pass a NICS background check before the transaction can be completed.
Can I put a purchase on layaway?
We do offer layaway on purchases with 25% down and require that following payments be made in 4 monthly instalments.
Do we take pre-owned ammunition?
This is a very common question, but the vast amounts of ammunition types and possible condition makes it difficult to answer. If you have ammo that you would like to dispose of the best way to find out is to contact us directly.

How should I bring in my firearms?
All firearms brought to the store must be cased and unloaded prior to entering our facility. If you require assistance in doing so, please let a staff meber know how we can help.
Selling Privacy
If you bring a firearm or collection to sell, we conduct all transactions in the privacy of our dedicated sales office.
Are gunsmithing services available?
While we can do some general maintanence and cleaning, we do not have a gunsmith on staff. If you are in need of one, we are happy to make a recomendation if you give us a call.
Where are Permit to Carry Classes held?
Our classes take place in our Maple Grove store location followed by qualifications at the Maple Grove Law Enforcement Center just a few blocks away. For store directions, you can visit our contact page here and for directions to the training facility, click here.
Can I transfer a firearm through Down Range?
Yes, you are more than welcome to send us transfered firearms as well as NFA transfers. We simply ask that you reach out to us with the relevent information concerning your transfer beforehand so that we can best assist you.
Do you sell suppresors?
We carry a number of suppressors in varied calibers. You can both purchase them and complete your form 4 application. We take care of the whole process in-house!
